SafeRide/WalkSafe and Public Good App House

SafeRide/WalkSafe, the easy-to-use smartphone app that helps make people safer when they travel, is pleased to announce that our app will be demoed at Caravan Studios’ Public Good App House Festival in Washington, D.C in early November 2017. The conference's goal is to introduce innovative tech solutions that solve real-world problems to a wider audience of potential users and discuss community engagement and design, active projects, and impact and scale. SafeRide/WalkSafe and its ability to provide real-time updates to a chosen group of contacts whenever the user is taking a trip, whether across campus or across the planet, certainly fits the bill.

We look forward to being able to share the many benefits of SafeRide/WalkSafe alongside other public safety apps, groups, and initiatives. More news will become available as the date of the conference draws closer, so please be sure to check our website regularly for additional updates. If you're in the D.C. area between November 13th and 15th, we encourage you to attend the conference and learn about the many exceptional apps that will be featured.

SafeRide/WalkSafe and the HubSpot Education Partner Program

As a part of
HubSpot's Education Partner Program, students in Emerson College’s Inbound in the Integrated Marketing Framework course spent the Spring 2017 semester working together and using HubSpot's marketing software to create an inbound campaign for our app. This included writing blog posts, building our social media accounts, creating content, optimizing our search engine presence, and more - and it was all done through HubSpot.
